Renaldo Kell's The Bush Knife Review

The Bush Knife is an action/thriller from Director and Writer, Renaldo Kell. Who's previous work include Legacy of Steel and fan film Street Fighter Vengeance, which both were shown on an american television network called Sprockets and Splices.

The film follows an ordinary man called William S. Singh who, in a time of unemployment, works for a man called David Blak.

William later finds out the David Blak is actually the leader of a criminal organisation called The Skulls and decides to leave employment. Which results in him and his families life been turned upside down.

In retaliation, William takes his vengeance upon members belonging to the Skull resulting in his arrest. He is then interrogated by a detective that opens his understanding that the skulls are more powerful then he realizes and that even the falcon police force cannot interfere. So the two make a pack and decide to go after the skulls to bring there organisation to the ground.

The film was made with a budget of $22 000 and was filmed in Durban South Africa. The style of the feature is a very gritty and shaky style of filming kinda like, Clover-field, Man of Steel and The Borne Identity. Very impressive for a micro budget film and some good up and coming actors. Check it out on Vimeo.
